    Greg brings over a decade of Sales and Marketing experience directly related to the growth of some of the largest beer, wine and liquor brands in the world. By executing branding events throughout the country, Greg has developed a keen sense for market needs, opportunities, and brand implementation.

    Tim brings with him a breadth of restaurant development and operations experience, having led the McLoone’s restaurant company for over 18 years. In that span, Tim took the company from just one location in Sea Bright, NJ to over a dozen – from $3.5 million in annual sales to nearly $50 million when he left. Tim was integral to not just the growth of the company, but also the development of several concepts they eventually opened, including Robinson Ale House, Iron Whale and Kahuna Burger. Tim brings this expertise and desire for growth to his leadership position at BarCo Brands.

    After years of experience working in restaurants, Andrea made the move to Rook Coffee as one of the first employees on the ground floor. Over her eight-year stint as Rook’s Director of Culture and Recruitment, she helped grow the company from one unit to the eleven-unit and roastery that the company is today.

    Phil has more than a decade of experience in Operations Management of large facilities such as stadiums, healthcare facilities and schools. Along with this management came direct oversight of licensure, national accreditations, emergency operations planning and code compliance.

In 2017, co-founders Andrea Pappas, Greg Bartz, and Phil Villapiano set out to energize New Jersey’s hospitality scene with one mission in mind - Good Times At All Times! Drawing from their deep-rooted knowledge of the local bar and restaurant scene and community dynamics, their first location, Deal Lake Bar + Co., was born. Although the launch was during the challenging climate of 2020, the bar’s fresh, youthful design, married with approachable and creative offerings, was an instant hit! The group knew something strong was brewing, but realized there was a missing ingredient.  The strategic addition of Tim McMahon, a local hospitality pioneer with unparalleled experience in driving industry growth, solidified the team as they turned their eyes toward the future. Under this new leadership team, the parent Management Company of BarCo Brands was formed with its sights set on expansion. 

The year 2023 came with groundbreaking achievements positioning BarCo Brands as a cornerstone of the Jersey Shore’s hospitality landscape. The first additions to the BarCo Brands’ portfolio were standout venues Low Dive, The Break, and Swimcrush, all located on the iconic Asbury Park Boardwalk. These brands continue to thrive, each establishment adding its unique flavor to the city's vibrant social and culinary fabric. Building off the successes and momentum in Asbury Park, BarCo Brands ambitiously signed on to open its largest location to date - Baseline Social.  This sports bar and interactive entertainment venue is strategically aligned with the redevelopment of the debunked US military base at Fort Monmouth. This move signified a new era of growth and opportunity not only for the company, but its community as a whole. Upon its opening, Baseline Social quickly became a beacon of innovation and community engagement.

The group remains committed to the truest forms of hospitality, unforgettable guest experiences, and lasting memories for its communities.
